THE ‘WE GO!’ PROJECT HAS DEVELOPED A TRAINING TOOLKIT FOR ANTI-VIOLENCE CENTERS
The ‘We Go!’ partnership has developed a training toolkit. The toolkit is based on the
research data from all of the partner countries and is tested within project pilot activities.
The training toolkit includes the applied methodology, tools, training mechanisms and best
practices for Anti-Violence Centers. The modules of the toolkit aim to help referral centres
and shelters across Europe to determine how to facilitate activities with similar groups of
women, when it comes to personal and economic empowerment.
“The toolkit covers multiple areas, such as social entrepreneurship, IT, microfinance… From
what we saw in our pilot workshops, we believe it can be of truly big value to anti-violence
centers”, - says Yevgeniya Averhed, the deputy director of Department for International
Cooperation of Folkuniversitetet.
‘WE GO! Women Economic-independence & Growth Opportunity’ is a 2 year DAPHNE project,
launched in October 2015. The ‘We Go!’ consortium consist of 11 organisations from Bulgaria,
Greece, Italy, Spain, and Sweden, as well as several associate partners from other European
countries.
