Blackhawks, CO Spot Recognition: AE3 Cook & AEAN Wu
Over 4 fly days in Norfolk and Bahrain, between 14 and 20 March, we completed 41
individual pilot and aircrew syllabus events and flew 114 hours. On Wednesday alone,
we flew a remarkable 41.5 hours.
We are a hard week of flying away from executing our quarterly flight hour allotment
(778 hours) for the first time since June 2012. This will take no small effort, we need to
fly over 140 hours next week between Norfolk and Bahrain. From what you've
demonstrated already, we can safely achieve this goal.
The results of your hard work keeping our aircraft flying and our systems working
speak for themselves; we are qualifying pilots and aircrew at a fantastic pace, while
building valuable maintenance and MCM experience.
As icing on the cake, our Blackhawks in Bahrain running group is up to 17 hard core
runners dedicated enough to squeeze in a long run after a very hard day at work!
Stay safe, Stay focused, and keep up the great work!
R, Skipper
