1. “Fiona was appointed to work with Openwork in an interim capacity
during the latter half of 2009 with a specific brief to review the firms
strategy in the context of the emerging Retail Distribution Review.
Particular focus was placed on the implications for appointed
representative firms and how they would be required to adapt to the
new regime. The work was completed during an appointment of
approximately 9 months during which time she had direct access to
members of the senior management team and was called upon to
speak at both regional and national meetings (including our annual
conference for UK advisers). This was a time of considerable turbulence
for the business and it is credit to Fiona that she delivered against her
mandate whilst structures, personnel and operational process were in a
state of flux around her.”
