of a significant Indian audience.

With the strict Muslim culture, Indian movies were said to show "respect"
toward women, where Hollywood movies were seen to have "no shame".

New Bollywood though has affected the popularity of Indian
films, due to the more westernized themes and more overt
depictions of sexuality.
