These are compilations of Lesson Plans used in our study "Utilization of Comic Strips in Teaching and Assessing Grade 10 Students' Pronoun Proficiency". These Lesson Plans have been validated by sets of language professors and were found effective by the end of the study.

Let them fill in the blanks with the correct demonstrative pronoun in the dialogues of

VII. ABSTRACTION
Introduce to them formally what a relative pronoun is.
Relative pronoun is a word that connects two statements and refers to a
noun/pronoun within the sentence. It is used to a clause or phrase to a noun or
pronoun.
For the example, the teacher will go back to the previous sentences she had in the activity.
She will explain how the relative pronoun was used in the sentences.
Then, discuss the different classifications under relative pronouns.

The teacher asks them if they are familiar with the game PANTS.
Then the teacher will introduce to them the game Who, Where and What. This
game is a substitute to the mentioned game earlier.
The teacher gives a given letter, then she says if it is who (name), where
(place) and what (animal). Then she draws out of the papers rolled with the
students’ name. The game continues for 3-5 minutes.
F. Exploration
The teacher asks to when do we use the terms who, where and what.
The students may answer that it is commonly used in asking questions. They
may give examples in using them according to their own knowledge.
G. Explanation
The teacher will introduce interrogative pronouns which include the wh-
questions mentioned.
An interrogative pronoun is a pronoun which is used to make asking questions

easy. There are 5 interrogative pronouns that are used to ask specific
questions.
The 5 interrogative pronouns are what, which, who, whom, and whose.
What- used to ask question about people or objects.
Example:
- What do you want for a gift?
- What is the name of your pet?
Which- used to ask question about people or objects.
Example:
- Which dress do you prefer, the stripes or the checkered one?
- Which seat do you like?
- Which of those boys is your crush?
Who- Used to ask question about people.
- Who is that lady in black?
- Who was driving the car lately?
- Who went to Anna’s party?
Whom- This interrogative pronoun is rarely seen these days, but it also
refers to asking questions about a person.
Examples:
- To whom did you lend your eraser?
- Whom do you live with?
Whose- Used to ask questions about people or object, always related to
possession.
Examples:
- Whose pen is this?
- Whose house is the blue one?
In some cases interrogative pronoun ends with –ever.
Like:
- Whatever
- Whichever
- Whoever
- Whatsoever
- Whomsoever
Sentences containing interrogative pronouns are always in question form,
therefore they end in question marks (?).
H. Elaboration
Choose a partner. For 5 minutes, create 5 questions to be asked to your partner
using interrogative pronouns in relation to his/her personality or hobbies. List
down these questions on a one whole piece of pad paper.
In the next 5 minutes, exchange your paper to your pair and answer these
questions.

Create your own comic strip!
Instruction: Based on the topic given, draw your own comic strips with a
message balloons. Inside the message, write your own conversation with the
