Step by step cable sizing using ETAP

1. Cable Sizing

2. Make simple SLD consist of :
Swing
Transformer
Cable
Motor

4. Pick any cable size from
library

6. Pick loading current

8. Fill Voltage drop requirement
(5% in this example)
Then select the new cable sizing

10. Run Load Flow to check

12. Ok! 5% Voltage drop
Now try using 2%

14. Run Load Flow

16. Ok! 2% Voltage Drop
