Actress Kelly Brook, 35,
has made a career out
of her killer curves. ‘I do
heavy weights a couple
of times a week and
I do Barry’s Bootcamp
for cardio,’ says the
ex-Strictly star. ‘Cardio
and running is one of the
hardest things to do,’ she
says. ‘I also go hiking, I
swim and do martial arts.
I like to mix it up.’

After dropping two dress sizes to a size 10,
Lorraine Kelly, 55, says it’s all thanks to Zumba
three times a week in the church hall. ‘I’ve never
felt better in myself,’ says the presenter. ‘Zumba is
so much fun… Everyone gets hot and sweaty. In
your head you’re Beyoncé, but it doesn’t matter
what you look like. No one’s looking at you.’
Now it’s your turN Burning up 500-
1,000 cals per hour session, Lorraine took four
months to get in shape. Her classes cost just £5
but you could follow a dance-workout DVD at
home, such as Zumba Fitness DVD Exercise Kit
(£39.99, amazon.co.uk), including toning sticks.
A 250-mile charity quest in
January got her in shape, but
Denise Van Outen, 41, is not
ready to put her bike away
just yet. ‘Cycling to work
gives me a challenge,’ says
the mum-of-one. ‘Granted,
it’s not as extreme as my
previous exploits, but the
morning rush I get is great.’
And it hasn’t been bad for
her body, either. ‘When I had
my daughter, I put on 2st, but
rather than fad diets, cycling
gives me the confdence to
wear what I want.’
Good Morning Britain
hosts Susanna Reid, 44,
and Kate Garraway, 48,
got themselves and the
nation in shape
last month with
the show’s
Tough Mums
challenge.
It involved
a gruelling
obstacle course
complete with
drill sergeant,
and celebs
Michelle Heaton,
Kelly Hoppen and
Sam Bailey joining
the ‘lucky’ selected viewers.
Susanna showed her new-
found strength by lifting GMB
host Ben Shephard in the air
before the event, while Kate did
tricep dips during ad breaks.
‘Tough Mums will push them
to their limits, but it’s a great
challenge,’ said Susanna.

Mum-of-two
Mel Sykes, 45, is
super-toned thanks
to High Intensity
Interval Training.
Also known as HIIT,
the short bursts of intense exercise
cut training time. ‘I’m never in the
gym longer than an hour,’ says the
TV presenter. ‘I’ve been blitzing 20
minutes in the gym with HIIT and
don’t give myself a break at all. That’s
as good as an hour pottering around.’
Now it’s your turN HIIT is
great if you’re short of time, but check
with your GP, as it’s not suitable if you
have high blood pressure. You’ll
build muscle, boost endurance and
burn calories in a 20-minute session,
but you have to really push yourself.
Try alternating 30 seconds of sprinting
with 30 seconds of walking, or 30
seconds of push-ups with 10 seconds
of rest. Most gyms have starter classes.

Back from maternity leave, Holly Willoughby,
34, is looking sensational on This Morning. The
mum-of-three has been pounding the pavements,
even though she admits to disliking exercise.
‘I’m useless at it,’ the presenter has said.
‘I don’t know how people fnd time to go to the
gym six times a week. I ran for three days in a
row and thought I had the bug – but I didn’t stay
bitten.’ Well, it looks like Holly has the bug again.
