No point driving people to your
site, if the content is old
and there is no clear call-to-action.

Every author needs a way to
contact their readers.
Make sure there is an email sign
up on your site and that you have
a way to send out a newsletter.
7. 3. Facebook Fan Page
You need a fan page on Facebook.
If you only have a personal page,
please create a fan page and start
building a community with your
readers.
8. 4. Twitter
Please set up a Twitter handle so
you can join the conversation.
It’s not fair to ask others to talk
about your book, when you don’t
make the effort yourself.
9. 5. Blog
I know you’d rather be writing
your book and I feel your pain.
But there is no better way to build
traffic or attract readers than
blogging.
