Adjunctive therapy for short-term administration (to
tide the patient over an acute episode or exacerbation)
in acute gouty arthritis, acute and subacute bursitis,
acute nonspecific tenosynovitis, epicondylitis,
rheumatoid arthritis, synovitis or osteoarthritis.

5. The initial dose of Cynocort may vary from 2.5 to 60 mg per day
depending on the specific disease.
Systemic:
Adult and children over 12 years old, the suggested initial dose
is 60 mg, injected deeply into the gluteal muscle. Dosage is
usually adjusted within the range of 40 to 80 mg. Children 6 to
12 years , the suggested initial dose is 40 mg.

Intra- articular or intra-bursal administration and for injection
into tendon sheaths. A single local injection is frequently
sufficient. Initial dose is 2.5 to 5 mg for smaller joints and
