Medium sized Construction Companies of Pakistan

PROJECT SUMMARY: The primary objectives of this project were to assess the state-of-practice of small to
medium sized construction companies regarding their cost control mechanism. To
analyze the state of practice, a questionnaire survey was conducted and the lacking in
cost control system was identified. Cost Analysis and Control Mechanism
Improvement Model (CACMIM) was developed to mitigate the lacking through
specific mitigating action and implementation guidelines. This was later verified by the
industry experts and after that case studies had been conducted.
