For more than 100 years, National Geographic’s photographers
and explorers have traveled the world to bring home stunning
images and unforgettable stories that reveal the wonders of our
amazing planet. This fall, we invite you to hear from some of
the best as they share their experiences uncovering the earth’s
harshest environments, pushing the boundaries of space explo-
ration, and documenting magnificent wildlife.
And this fall, for the first time ever, we’re partnering with
FotoDC and Brightest Young Things to host the world-class
photography celebration FotoWeekDC right here on our
campus. This popular annual festival of inspiring talks and
stunning exhibitions is curated by some of the world’s best
photographers and filmmakers. During that week, we’ll also
be opening a new exhibit featuring some of the most popular
photos from National Geographic’s Instagram account,
@natgeo,whichisfollowedbymorethan56millionusers. We’re
lookingforwardtoafallseasonfilledwithinspiration,adventure,
