40. Plataforma de Monitoramento em Tempo Real O IIE e IIEGA desenvolveram sistemas de monitoramento em tempo real (SMATER) para transmissão de dados de qualidade de água. Já então instaladas e operando 15 plataformas de monitoramento. O equipamento é um sistema desenvolvido pelo IIE que possibilita analisar continuamente 7 variáveis de qualidade da água em tempo real em perfis horizontais em lagos, represas e rios. Também foram desenvolvidos métodos para coleta e determinação de gases de efeito estufa emitidos, por sedimentos de represas.
