WHICH ACTION happens FIRST? Which follows?
ANSWER: b+a
 PAST PERFECT TENSE is used to talk about an action which HAPPENS BEFORE
another action in PAST SIMPLE, both in the past, and finished. :
1. I WENT shopping WHEN/ AFTER I HAD DONE my household chores.
2. She HAD DONE her homework BEFORE she WATCHED TV for as while.

3. SPECIAL USAGES
ON + GERUND PERFECT = AFTER/AS SOON AS + PAST
PERFECT
On HAVING PLAYED the football match, it STARTED TO RAIN
On + present perfect means the same as AFTER/AS SOON AS + past
perfect to talk about actions that happen before other actions in the past:
