The Workstation is a web-based food security oriented information system application. Developed by FAO and mainly funded by the European Commission, through the EC-FAO Food Security Information for Action Programme. It is designed to allow different users to organize, share and publish spatial and non-spatial information. The Workstation is based on an architecture named FENIX (Food security and Early warning Network for Information eXchange).
