2.  What is Culture &
Tradition
 Culture is the ideas, customs
and social behavior of a
particular People or Society
which includes Language,
Religion, Social Habit, Music &
Art.
 The way of thinking, behaving or
doing something that has been
by the people in a particular
group, family, society for a long
time.
For example: Dance, Costume,
Celebration, Games and others.

Tribal Culture
Tribal Culture is most ancient and
unique which represent their
different concept of creation,
Dance, Religious and other views.

4. Descripcion of Rural Culture
Music
The music and dance styles of Bangladesh
are divided into three categories:
 Classical
 Folk
 Modern
 Dance and Drama
Several dancing styles in vogue in the
northeastern part of the Indian
subcontinent, like Manipuri and Santhali
dances, are practised, but Bangladesh has
developed its own distinct dancing styles.

5. Festivals and Celebrations
Festivals and Celebrations are an integral
part of the culture of Bangladesh.
The major Festivals of Bangladesh are
 Eid-Ul-Fitre
 Eid-Ul-Adha
 Durga Puja
 Pahela Boisakh

6. Tribal Culture of Bangladesh
 Bangladesh has many tribal
people. Majority of who live in
Chittagong hill tracts area.
 Chakma, Marma, Murong,
Khashia, Garo, Monipuri are
majority of tribal people.
 They all have their individual
language, clothes, foods,
tradition and culture

7. Modern culture
 Modern Culture is nothing but a
total complex of western
culture.
 People of cities and towns
mostly practice modern culture.
 People of new generation hardly
knows about our rooted culture.
 It is actually a result of
Gobalization
