MC position
ENA is an organic community of digital cultural heritage
enthusiasts, professionals, volunteers, students, and creatives.
A ‘network of networks’.
Focus on questions related to access to digital cultural heritage in Europe
• Organize communities of professionals working on digital access to cultural heritage in Europe
• Provide feedback to Europeana Foundation and serve as an "early warning system" for the EF
• Ensure that sector professionals have a say in the governance of Europeana
• Share knowledge among organisations and individuals working in this field
• Contribute to developing shared standards for Digital Cultural Heritage

Approach
Let the MC work in smaller, more agile subgroups,
reflecting the special interests and expertise of
individual councillors.
Let councillors take more responsibility for
managing communities (with aid from the Office)
and engaging the wider Network.
Allocate budget more flexibly to communities in
order to support their agency.
