Directions:

 Weld mark-up rule for spool fabrication:
• The spool usually consists of one pipe and one fitting.
• The spool length specifies less than 12 meters for delivery.
• The spool-shape is two-dimensional(2D).
 Large bore & small bore:
• Field welding is the priority for a small bore (1.5” and less).
• Small fitting(O-LET, Boss, Coupling) items shall be shop welded, which will
connect them to large bores.
 Random SPOOL:
• A random spool’s cut point should be used “FW” as per the pipe-dimension.
• If the purchased pipe’s length is less than 12 meters, it will be a ‘double-joint
welding’ in the shop.
 Straight Lines:
• FW should be checked for far enough positions from the supports.
• Minimized field welding in a loop course.
• Available in a horizontal direction; the welding point to be done is Field-
Welding (for easy weld, the support interference must be minimized).
