3. As per production findings here pipe thread cutting need more time & pipe will
damage for thread length variation.
We are think about it how solve this problem.
For that reason we make plan & apply a kaizen .
4. Measure
Before per shift damage two piece pipe.
Per day it will four.
It’s lot of amount damage in a month.
Before pipe thread measure by manual process.
Need more time fore manual measurement.
5. Improvement Phase
Now pipe thread will fixed by this support. We can increase or decrease this length.
At first we take pipe thread measure and make a base as like pipe thread length. Then we make a
support that will stop the pipe head in a fixed length. We can set this support our required pipe length.
It’s working & we reduce defect production.
Thread measure by hand after a
while.
Now don’t need measure
all the time
