5. Reading Section
 3-5 passages
 20 minutes approx. for each one (not separated)
 12-14 questions per passage
 Last questions in each passage are extra long and more
difficult.
 Topics are academic similar to university books >>> science,
history, humanity ….etc.

6. Listening Section
 6 Passages ( 4 Academic Topics )
- 5 min. for each one with questions
- Similar topics to reading section
 2 conversations
- 3 min for each one with 5 questions
- About living in campus

7. Speaking Section
 6 tasks (always the same order)
 Task 1,2 >>> Independent
- You are asked a question and you answer
 Task 3,4 >>> Integrated
- Reading & Listening

 Two Essays
 1st is Integrated
- Read, Listen & Write ( Academic Topics )

 2nd is Independent

1- The developer of the test is ETS ( Educational Testing Service )
2- Countries accepting TOEFL >>> US and some Asian countries like Malaysia
3- The scores are valid for two years; then they are no longer reported
4- Test Score ranges from 0 to 120 in IBT
5- Each university accepts a certain score; it varies from a place to another
