Combined Cycle Power Plants worldwide. Primary duties are to technically manage the Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering Services team as a valued
contributor of the Conversion, Modification & Upgrade (CM&U) - Project Engineering Services group. The CM&U Engineering group is tasked with performing
upgrade and enhancement projects on the installed base of GT power plants throughout the world.
A large part of my responsibilities as a Senior Engineer are to lead, guide, mentor, develop and inspire our team of engineers. Always keeping a positive attitude,
leading by example and being a solution provider to both co-workers and customers are vital to the success for this role.
Additional significant duties in this role include providing technical expertise and guidance for New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, New Unit Requisition
Projects and CM&U Requisition Projects all of which include working closely with Application Engineers, CPM’s, CE’s, Site TA’s etc. during the ITO process and with
end customers, Project Managers, Requisition Managers, Design Engineers, Site Personnel & GE Controlled Title Engineers during the OTR process. PAC case and
Customer CTQ research and resolution is an area that I have devoted much of my time in this position which has led to many design improvements, PCO’s and
significant customer satisfaction improvements. I have taken on additional classes and self-training since coming to GE in 2011 so that I can also provide
technical expertise and oversight for Electrical code compliance (NEC, CEC, ATEX, IECEx, BSI, CE, etc.) for General & Hazardous Environments on all electrical &
instrumentation designs.
