2. It’s About Relationship
A business that makes nothing
but money is a poor business.
— Henry Ford
Jet City Partners is a private equity company created to invest in lower
middle market manufacturing companies in the Puget Sound region.
We understand that there are many challenges in growing a business,
in designing a solution for an owner to exit or for management to
purchase a business. We strive to be as creative as possible in order
to make sure that when we become involved everybody wins.
When Jet City Partners invests in your business we understand it is a
relationship, a partnership, which may last many years. Our goal is
to capitalize on the value that has already been created in your
business and to work with you to develop a long term plan for
growth. We will leverage our own resources to augment the assets
in your business and to spur healthy and sustained growth.
3. Our Approach
Jet City Partners makes controlling investments in and acquisitions
of lower middle market manufacturing companies.
When we invest we consider multiple factors.
We analyze the strength of the management team, the defensibility
of the market position and the durability of customer relationships.
4. Our Process
FACE-TO-FACE MEETING Complex transactions require
trust and respect for both parties. Our team will work to
ensure not only that we have a thorough understanding of
your business but that you understand us as well.
REVIEW We will conduct a preliminary review of your
sheets, and aging reports.
OFFER If we are a match, Jet City Partners will issue a letter
of intent outlining our proposal and general terms thus
beginning a period of exclusivity.
DUE DILIGENCE During the negotiation period we will do
a deep dive into all aspects of the company. This assessment
will include, among other things, the assets of the company,
the structure of company ownership, customer relationships
and key employees.
CLOSE THE TRANSACTION Once the conditions of the
purchase and sale contract have been met we will close the
transaction. The entire process can take six to twelve months.
