The Secret to
Home-Based
Businesses
Network Marketing is a very powerful
business model which allows normal
people like you and I to share a product
with people and receive commissions,
which turns into monthly residual
income every month from re-occurring
orders.
Network Marketing companies save
millions of dollars by NOT using
traditional advertising methods and
depends on us, the distributors to share
the product, in turn the company
shares the profits with us instead of on
advertising.
The network marketing
business model becomes very
powerful when you grow
your business of distributors
and earn commissions off of
everybody’s efforts.
The leaders in network
marketing have thousands of
people on their teams from all
over the world and earn over
$100,000 a month.
There is no income cap in
network marketing, it’s legal
(if they have a legitimate
product), and there is
unlimited potential with very
little risk and start-up cost.
Start-up cost is usually for
the price of the product,
which could be as little as
$50. If you’re not happy with
the company, you simply
cancel your monthly
autoship and you’re out.
Like any competitive
industry, there is a high
failure rate or attrition rate in
network marketing.
Failure is do either because the new
network marketer was misled by an
aggressive marketer who proclaimed
unrealistic financial projections, or the
new network marketer didn’t treat this
new profession like a profession and
study and research proper techniques
used in building a home-based
business.
When I first started network
marketing I didn’t understand
what it was and I was too shy
to call my sponsor, so I took to
the internet and learned
everything I could.
I read books on it and watched YouTube
videos from network marketing
trainers. I knew in my first month that I
would encounter rejection, people
quitting on me and negativity from the
public.
I also knew that everyone who thrives
to succeed will encounter setbacks and
even be hated, even Oprah has haters.
You have to become indifferent to the
naysayers and keep looking for the
diamonds in the rough.
Most people who start
network marketing and keep
going will have moderate
success. People who start a
home based business usually
do it part-time while having a
job.
It is important to become efficient with
your time and time building your
business is called profit-producing
activity. Activity that doesn’t build your
business is not profit-producing.
Busily cleaning your desk out
or rearranging brochures and
printing stamps are not
profit-producing, even
though it feels productive.
Profit producing activity is calling
prospects and handing out brochures
or writing original content online about
you and your business. Blindly
spamming your links online does not
warrant an ethical way of building a
solid business foundation.
The secret to home based
businesses is perseverance
and having a strong reason to
keep going, which in this
industry is called your “Why.”
Your “Why” is usually a strong
testimonial you have of why you chose
your company or how the product
affected your life. Leaders have a strong
“Why” which can usually get people
teary-eyed. Some “Why’s” are kind of
like rags to riches stories which are
usually inspiring.
Another secret in network marketing is
crafting the mindset of a selfless
leader. Network marketing is a people
business and when you stop thinking
about how much money you can make
and start helping others achieve their
dreams you’re on the fast track to
success.
Network marketing is not about
pushing or selling someone, but
sharing an opportunity if one chooses
to accept it. We don’t hound people to
join. We build the vision that success is
possible for those seeking it.
Once you become confident
and have stuck out the hard
times in network marketing
(usually after the first or
second year) people will
notice you.
They will be curious about what you’re
doing because they remembered you
from last year and you’re still going! If
you don’t quit network marketing, you
can’t FAIL at network marketing.
Network marketing is one big self-
development course and usually only
costs the price of a cell phone bill to
receive expert training from the
leaders within your company and from
the priceless knowledge you learn from
reading and watching the selfless
leaders in network marketing.
It’s worth everything in the
world to see someone in your
business fire their boss
because they can go full time
in network marketing now
and work from home.
