  1. What motivated me to take this class was the opportunity to learn about various technologies that could help stimulate my learning and ultimately improve my study habits. Using technology, which I am frequently doing, would be even better if I could utilize it for learning as well.
  2. When I completedthelearning preferences survey, I agreed with most of the scores at the time. I felt that most of the scores and its descriptions were fairly accurate to what I could relate to. Personally I did not think about my learning preferences at the beginning of the class and I just did what I felt was comfortable and natural for me
  3. I decided to become a learning warrior because I wanted to gain a deeper understanding of specific technologies. I wanted to use the technology I was already using in to more meaningful and useful ways.
  4. The quizzes and mini lectures revealed to me a broader range of apps that could be used on those types of technology. The forums within iLearn were highly beneficial for giving me a broader understanding of technologies.
  5. Through this course, I studied three main technologies. The first one being iPad’sand tablets. I had access to tablet technology so I was already familiar with it and wanted to learn more.Thesecond technology is social networking sites. I have used many sites such as Facebook, MySpace, etc….The third technology I explored was social bookmarking sites. I am not the familiar with these sites so it is something I wanted to explore.
  6. The main technologies that I wanted to investigate were social networking sites. I wanted to learn how to expand my social network to develop my career as an accountant in the business world. I felt that becoming involved with iPad/Tablet technology would be the best for learning, given all the options that are available with iPads/tablets. Through the technology I am able to utilize many options for my personal development.
  7. The color-coding strategy would help me retain information much easier. It is a good strategy for me because it will make the information in my notes stand out, which would help me picture the information in my mind when I need to. Outline note-taking will help me organize my thoughts and materials, so that when I review my materials It will make sense based on the order I view it in going from top to bottom.
  8. I was able to gain a deeper knowledge of the technologies that I wanted to learn about. I obtained new learning styles as well as new study habits from taking the Learning Warrior path in this class.
