 After enjoying a fantastic rally and taking over the 26000 and 7950 mark on Tuesday, the benchmark indices ended at
highest levels for the calendar year. The ongoing results season met expectations with Infy, HDFC Bank, IndusInd
Bank and Reliance Industries announcing better than expected numbers.
 Finally, the BSE Sensex ended with a gain of 57 points at 26,064. The BSE Sensex opened at 25,956 touched an intra-
day high of 26,093 and low of 25,885. The NSE Nifty closed with a gain of 17 points at 7,980. The NSE Nifty opened
at 7,942 hitting a high of 7,991 and low of 7,941.
 A day before the April F&O contract expiry, the Nifty traded in a narrow and tight band amid high volatility. It fi-
nally ended 17 points higher. Nifty futures premium settled at 10 point. India VIX fell 1.4% to 16.3
 FIIs bought | 411 crore while DIIs sold | 295 crore in the cash segment. FIIs bought | 844 crore in index futures and |
359 crore in index options. In stock futures, they bought | 169 crore
 The highest Put base is at the 7700 strike with 53 lakh shares while the highest Call base is at the 8000 Call strike
with 60 lakh shares. The 7900 and 8000 Call strike saw reductions of 9.0 and 6.8 lakh shares respectively. The 8000
and 7900 Put strikes saw additions of 8.7 and 2.3 lakh shares, respectively
 Nifty Future: The Nifty is likely to flat to positive on the back of strong global cues. It is likely to trade in the range of
7950-8070. Buy Nifty in the range of 7980-7990 for targets of 8025-8050, stop loss: 7958
 Bank Nifty Future: The Bank Nifty remained under pressure after the quarterly results of Axis Bank. However, the
index sustained above the crucial level of 16500 throughout the day. Private sector banks witnessed decent rollover
indicating long accumulation is likely to continue. Buy Bank Nifty in the range of 16860-16910, targets: 17000-17100,
stop loss: 16800
