2. LETTER OF THE SECRETARY-GENERAL OF IMUN NAPLES 2015
Dear delegates,
my name is Chiara Dipierri and it is my utmost pleasure to serve you as Secretary General
at Imun Naples 2014. I’m currently at my second year, studying economics at Tor Vergata Uni-versity
in Rome. My dream-job is to work in the diplomacy world for an international organiza-tion
(United Nations if possible). I’m definitely UN addicted and you can always find me in the
United Nations area of my university library. Other than that, my life involves acting, learning
new languages, organizing birthday parties for children, friends and traveling.
To say something about my Model Un background, I attended numerous conferences as
a delegate. As a member of United Network staff, I was the director of Economic and Financial
Committee and the Under Secretary General of Economic and Social Council (ECOFIN for
short). I’m also devoting my time to assist Unido’s director for National High School Model UN
in New York, working for Imuna staff.
The topics placed before you this year are of extreme importance to the international
community. From the right of migrants or the health of refugees, to the infrastructure develop-ment
in the developing world, these topics are exceptionally various and current and I’m sure
you’ll have a challenging debate on them. Your directors, assistants and admin, are extremely
skilled and competent. It is for this reason that I’m more than excited to see how the simulation
will finally work.

6. GENERAL INFORMATIONS
(Please, read them carefully)
Dress Code
During the Model, all delegates must be wearing western formal dress. Casual dress like
snickers and jeans are strictly forbidden.
Badge
On 18 December, before the beginning of the first session, United Network gives perso-nal
badges to the Faculty Advisors. Badges must be worn during the entire event. In case of bad-ge
loss, it would take a rather long time to obtain a new one. Without badge delegates will not be
admitted in Committee Room.
Plackards
On 18 December, before the beginning of the beginning of the first session, United Net-work
gives plackards to the delegates. In case of loss, it is possible to obtain a new one, paying 5
euros.
Timetable
Make sure to be on time. Anyone arriving after the set timetable would not be admitted
to the committee under no circumstances.
