This is a proyect presented by Rogelio Ibañez, in which he tells us about how important was learning english in his life, how important it is in everybody's lives, the process of how he started to learn it, how he ended up in English E-Day and how much help the program was for him. Kudos for him!
2. ENGLISH CLASSES
I had to take English classes since I was a
child.
When I was in Kinder Garden my first
teachers taught me about fruits, numbers
and some others English words.
When I was in Elementary School, my
teachers started to teach us some things
about Grammar. Since then, I’ve never
stopped studying English.
3. ENGLISH CLASSES
When I finished school, I had an idea of the
language but I had never practiced
conversation nor reading.
My parents enrolled me at Ipcna, I stayed
there only 8 months because I was preparing
for the University and I spent more time on
my preparation for college.
4. ENGLISH CLASSES
When I started University, I had to study
many courses in English for example we had
to pass 4 courses of Basic and 2 courses of
Intensive English.
After that, I had to pass some courses of
Marketing in English.
Finally, in October last year I started the
English program at E-DAY.
5. WHY DO I STUDY ENGLISH
I study English because it is the most used
language in the world.
There are a lot of jobs that demand English
in order to apply for them.
I study English because I would like to speak
very fast with people around the world.
I would like to travel to Australia, Hawai and
also USA. So I need to learn the language
very well.
6. EXPERIENCE WITH OTHER PEOPLE
I met some american friends and I remember
they talked very fast to me.
They told me that the best way to learn one
language is to travel abroad.
I think it’s the best idea because you get to
met a lot of people and they only know their
native language.
When you travel to USA or England, you
listen English all day and speak English all
day.
7. EXPERIENCE E-DAY
When I signed in the English program, my
level of English wasn’t strong and I had
forgotten many things like Grammar and
Vocabulary.
Now this program has helped me remember
all things that I had studied before.
I have improved my English in many skills
like Conversation, Writing and Reading.
E-DAY gave me the chance to prepare for
the toefl exam.
8. ADVISORS E-DAY
When I was in the English Center for my first
class, I had my personal teacher but they call
them ADVISOR.
The Advisors teach English very well, they have
their own methodology, because they are
patient, they help you solve your doubts, they
train you in all the skills.
They give you different tools to improve your
English and different schedules to match your
life style.
9. MY ADVISORS
My first Advisor was Lucia. She was good
Advisor but only she taught me the first book
and this book was easy.
I had a session with another Advisor, her
name was Nicole, she loved to teach english,
she was a very hard working person.
Now my Advisor is Lorena, she is a good
Advisor, she helps me in a lot of topics, she
is very pacient.
10. NEW USERS
They shoud take advantage of this English
program because the institute is open almost
the whole day.
If they can’t come here, they have a chance
to do a virtual session by Skype.
They can do many activities like watch
movies, listen to songs, karaokes, etc.
I think is the best way of learn a new
language.
