Penny Lane
Jacket Designs
For DSGN 121 I created a series of designs of
Penny Lane Jackets. I researched inspiration for
this jacket and found trending colours to base
my jackets on.
The purpose of this project was to show my
technical ability with sketching and drawing
through photoshop.
I also wanted to experiment with applying
swatches, patterns, and colours.

Penny Lane Jacket
Components
These were the patterns and colours I
created for the Penny Lane Jackets. These
patterns range from super intricate and
detailed to more basic. The colour pallette
are cool tones and all work hand in hand
with bright statement colours to nuetrals.
COLOURS
This is the sketch to final design of the jacket.
While this is one of three different designs,
this one shows the patterns created the best.
In addition to this, the final design utilizes
different contrasts of colours.
The final designs each had the goal of
showing hyperfemine colours and designs in
a more modest and regal silhouette.

PRODUCT
INTRODUCTION
For DSGN 244, we studied the history
of fashion and were tasked in reimaging
aspects of Levi & Strauss’ brand based on its
history.
For this project, I used popular colours from
Levi & Strauss’s founding year to create a
concept for their future concepts for dressing
rooms within their inperson stores.

Dressing room
Details
For objects that stand alone, like a mirror,
we used brighter colors to help the items
pop. However for integral parts of the
room, like the door, we kept a neutral color
scheme to keep the room feeling cohesive
and calm.
COLOURS
We created an open floor plan for this
dressing room layout. By promoting the
open floor plan we can create a welcoming
enviornment for shoppers.
In addition we use a color scheme that
was popular during the 1850s’. By doing
this, we promote our brands legacy and
logevity to shoppers. This feeling of
nostalgia will be popular for shoppers
as we understand the the trends of
vintage colors and sillohettes in apparel.
