Emilie Raschis a studentatthe Master program of Visual Culture, University of
Copenhagen.Shehasa BA in Art History (2008). Emilie Raschhasfollowed my
coursein the Theory of Visuality, one of three constitutive coursesin the program.
The coursedealswith theory in relation to current forms of visuality and imagery,
focusinge.g.on variousforms of visual expressionandmediain relationto cultural
theory andanalysis.
Emilie's interestsareDesign,Visual CultureandContemporaryArt with a special
interestin combiningtheoreticandpracticalaspectsof thesesubjects.Emilie has
beenableto combine her theoretical ambitions with practical work at an early stage
of her studies.Herjob experiencecoversthe DanishArchitectureCenter(DAC),
Gallery Copenhagen,HansAlf Gallery, and at The Museum of DecorativeArts in
Copenhagen.Sheis currently writing for an upcoming posterexhibition at The
Museum of Decorative Arts. Sheis preparingan examproject on informational and
didacticapproachesto architecture,art,cultureanddesigntargetedat 13-19year-
olds.Emilie hasfurthennoreworked asa tutor in 2005 andasa mentor in2009 at
the Universityof Copenhagen.
Emilie Raschis a hard working andproductive studentwho hascontributedvery
well to my course.Shehaspassedexamswithin the ordinary time frame andwith
