METAVERSE
METAVERSE is a term coined by Neal Stephenson (1992) in the science fiction Cyberpunk and
represents an interconnected virtual world, populated by avatars.
After past experiences such as Second Life, Hyperfair or communication environments such as
Spatial.io, it returned to the fore in 2021 thanks to Faceboook's Horizon Prime (for Oculus) project, it is
now being developed in numerous 'big players':
