- 4. Step 1: Go to http://facebook.com and log into your Facebook account
- 5. Step 2: Click on "settings" in the top right corner of the screen
- 6. Step 3: Click the "Mobile" tab towards the top of your screen
- 7. Step 4: Under "Mobile Phones" click on "Register for Facebook Text Messages"
- 8. Step 5: Select from the drop down your country and your mobile provider and click next
- 9. Step 6: Text the letter "f" (without the quotes) to 32665 (FBOOK) from your phone
- 10. Step 7: Click "next"
- 11. Step 8: When you receive a text message back, enter the code into the text box and click "confirm"
- 12. Step 9: Next select what notifications you want to go to your phone and if there's a specific time you would like them to be sent"confirm"
- 13. Step 10: When you're done, click "Save Preferences"
