3. Process
• I researched a few different pixel games that involved
ghosts to see ideas and to help me think up my own
experiment idea. It interesting to see how other people
designed spooky games like this.
• Once I had an idea of how I wanted my background
and character to look, I started by designing the sky
with different shades of blue. I tried to make it feel
more natural and to avoid using just one bold colour.
This also goes for the mix of greens I used for the grass.
• I enjoyed this process and it let me practice my
animation and designing skills. This will be helpful to
look back on when I create the final piece.
4. Reflection
• What elements of your experiments will you include
in your final product?
• I liked mixing different shades of the same colour to
make it look slightly more colourful, so I might end
up using this type of style in my final game.
