Developed curriculum and managed/instructed 150 boys between the ages of 7-17 as they developed and refined
waterskiing skills ranging from beginner through advanced; effectively collaborated with other camp staff

sportsmanship; motivated campers to learn to effectively resolve conflicts; encouraged campers to try mew

● Worked diligently with the Greater High Point Food Alliance in planning and implementing two events, 2016
Food Summit and Can You Cook It Too, to engage community members and leaders while educating attendees
on food insecurity within the Greater High Point area
● Worked with vendors, donors, venue operators, and client to ensure the success of each event. Collaborated with
on campus student organizations to broaden university involvement. Recruited community leaders and respected
chefs. Created original “Food Box Challenge” where participants can only eat out of one given food box and $4 a
day for one week.

● Advanced and implemented communications plans; drafted messaging in support of events such as Bikers for
Babies, Heroines of Washington and Signature Chefs Gala - press releases, scripts, newsletters, PSA placements,

● Facilitated tasks supporting chapter’s mission, program activities, and fundraising tasks; helped raise $45,000 at
the 2014 Bikers for Babies event by assisting event coordinators in setup and execution

positively impacted raising funds for MOD
