called Maharana Pratap Ka Garh. Many gems happened here. That is why it is also called Johor Ka Garth.
The fort was besieged by Akbar in 1567 and the fort was attacked and looted 3 times in the 15th and
16th centuries. However, laths of Rajputs sacrificed their lives to defend the fort and thousands of
Mughal soldiers died.
