Corporate Overview
Oremet Corporation is a Philippine based,
Hydro Project Development Service company,
with a focus on Laos PDR, and the general
Mekong River Basin region. Both early stage
project development and advanced project
build outs are where the company excels, and
what has proven to have succeeded in the
past. Oremet has International and Asian
management team experience that combined
exceeds 140 years in Asia. In recent years,
the company has conducted geotechnical
studies of over 30 hydroelectric projects (over
300 MW capacity combined) in the
Philippines alone.
Oremet specializes in the early development
stage growth of small to medium scale hydro
projects. Our deep level of expertise ensures
quality project identification and analysis,
feasibility assessment including all technical
studies, Environmental impact studies,
navigating the regulatory process and strong
partner, government and community
relationships. The combined expertise of
Oremet ensures successful project
development for the entire life cycle of a
project, from concept through to the “shovel
ready” construction phase.
The strength of the group is our ability to
work well with local communities and local
governments and have a long track record of
working through land acquisition, water
resource rights, and various permitting and
regulatory requirements. Our experience
includes managing all onsite technical and
operational work, including management of
independent 3rd party consultants for specific
technical requirements when required by

Oremet is pleased to announce that
the company has entered into a Joint
Venture with Great Mekong
Development and Investment
Company, a Lao national company. The
Ventures mandate is to identify, secure
and develop hydro power projects,
essentially acquiring or creating “shovel
ready” projects primed for
construction, operation and revenue
growth. In addition, the Joint Venture
efforts shall continue to develop a
“greenfield” pipeline of hydro projects
in the 15 MW range.

Larry S. Cadawan has over 35 years combined experience working in the renewable energy industry
and in the mineral exploration business serving at senior management levels in various operations.
Recently his work has been focused on hydro project development located in the SE Asia Pacific
Region mainly in the Philippines, Laos PDR and Indonesia. Larry’s consulting works included stints
with PT. Sorikmas Mining, Sumatra Copper Gold Ltd., Phelps Dodge Exploration Corp., Benguet
Corp., Crew Minerals, Highlands Gold Ltd. and Cyprus Amax among other groups. Larry received a
Bachelor of Science in Geology from Adamson University in Manila, Philippines. He is a registered
geologist in the Philippine Professional Regulations Commission and a member of the Geological
Society of the Philippine.

Ely C. Nacario has over 35 years of local and international experience in the fields of renewable
energy and mineral exploration for both metallic and non-metallic minerals, development, mining
both open cast and underground and geo-engineering projects. He started his career as staff
geologist with the Mines and Geo-Sciences Bureau, Central Office and joined the Geology
Department of Zambia, Africa as Senior Geologist. He was involved in the geological mapping,
mineral deposit delineation and evaluation in both countries. After eight years in government
service, he worked in various exploration and mining companies at senior and managerial level
positions. Some of the major companies that Ely worked include Zambia Consolidated Copper

Mines, Kagem Emerald Mines both in Zambia; Hagura Mining Corporation, Mozambique; Phelps
Dodge Exploration Corp. and Sumatra Copper Gold Ltd. in Indonesia; Sacre-Coeur Minerals Ltd,

Tomas D. Malihan has more than 40 years experience in mineral exploration and mining both open
pit and underground that includes mines and projects on porphyry copper, porphyry copper-gold,
epithermal gold, chromite and nickel laterite deposits in the Philippines and Indonesia. He worked
in various exploration projects and operating mines at senior level positions for Benguet
Corporation; Pelsart Resources (Indonesia); Placer Dome Asia Pacific; Apex Mining Company; and,
Philsaga-Medusa Mining Corporation. Tom is a graduate of the University of the Philippines, holding
a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology. He is a registered geologist in the Philippine Professional

Rene I. Gonzales has over 33 years experience in gold, copper and coal exploration in SE Asia and
the Pacific Region. Rene worked in senior level position for Benguet Corporation, Newmont, Anglo
American, Sumatra Copper and Gold Ltd. and PT. Sorikmas Mining in the Philippines, Indonesia,
Laos and PNG. He was involved in the discovery of Boyongan porphyry Cu-Au deposit and the
geological modeling and development of the Batu Hijau porphyry Cu-Au mine and the Sihayo
sediment-hosted gold deposit. He also had mineral exploration and volcanology trainings in
Australia, New Zealand and Chile. Rene earned his Bachelor of Science in Geology from Adamson
University in Manila, Philippines and also completed short courses in economic geology at CODES,
University of Tasmania in Australia. He is a registered geologist in the Philippine Professional
Regulations Commission and a member of the Society of Economic Geologists, USA.
