2. LIBERTAD PUBLIC MARKET
SWOT ANALYSIS
STRENGTH – The strength of the site is that it is accessible to
all because a lot of public utility vehicle and private is passing
through the area. It is also near in some houses and
Baranggays and it makes it easier for them to shop or buy
anything that they need.
WEAKNESS – The weakness/es of the site is that the
possibility of being too crowded and a lot of people will try to
have a place for them to sell their goods eventually, will put up
their own stall and it will cause a problem when it comes to the
traffic flow of the site. The waste disposal can be considered a
problem too.

3. OPPORTUNITY – The opportunity of the site is that a lot of
people will come to buy from that area because it is near to their
homes and the goods are very much affordable. A lot of people
and vehicle is passing by in that area and technically a lot of
customers will come in.
THREAT – The threat of the site is that it is prone in some crimes
because it is too crowded and it involves selling or money that
can attract criminals to do commit crimes.

RECOMMENDATIONS
As to what we have notice when we conducted are site visit, I think we
must have to put an emphasize regarding on its Garbage Disposal
Unit, Toilet Facilities, Planning layout inclusion for side walk vendors,
Parking Area, traffic flow because some of the vendors have already
blocked the entrances and exists, its air ventilation, and most
especially its drainage system and sanitary.
We can see that the light is slightly blocked so I think we must also
observe light ventilation for the vendors to conserve using their
electricity, it is also very not organized because the meat section, fish
section and etc is al mixed. There’s no specific space for them to sell
their products.
