Description of company :
Mina Foods Misr has 27 years of successful experience in Egyptian market, it has grown to
became one of the most well known companies in the olives industries all over Egypt.
The company vision is to enhance the quality of the foods industry in egypt and its
mission to have a bigger market in the middle east.
So far it has a well known market in Iraq , Suida Arabia , Kuwait and Syria .
The company sectors divided as follows :
The managing sector.
The HR sector.
The Food Quality sector.
The Engineering sector.

Internship activities :
• Communicate with management and user personnel to develop production and design
standards.
• Review production schedules, engineering specifications, orders, and related information
to obtain knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures, and activities.
• Estimate production costs, cost saving methods, and the effects of product design changes
on expenditures for management review, action, and control.
• Draft and design layout of equipment, materials, and workspace to illustrate maximum
efficiency using drafting tools and computer.
• Confer with clients, vendors, staff, and management personnel regarding purchases,
product and production specifications, manufacturing capabilities, or project status.
• Analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and establish
quality and reliability objectives of finished product.
• Implement methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and defective
or damaged parts, and assess cost and responsibility.
• Direct workers engaged in product measurement, inspection, and testing activities to
ensure quality control and reliability.
Our day in Mina Foods Misr typically starts at 9 am , reviewing the day production
schedule and the standing orders , then we proceed with monitoring the production
process and make sure that it satisfy the quality needed, by 2 pm we take a break for 1
hour, after that we collect the day's work report about the machines , by 4 pm we start
machines maintenance as scheduled one machine per day so that the industry process
does not affect , we finish out work at 6 pm
My team was consists of 5 members (Team Head : Kyrollos Ayad) (Kirollos George ,
Ahmed Ibrahim , Mustafa talaat and me)
Generally the company uses Microsoft Word and Excel , personally I worked with Excel,
Cad tools , PSpice , the mechanical tools and PLC

Evaluation of the internship :
I had a great pleasure to participate in this internship, as I gained too much experience for my
practical life and for my social life as well , i used to work under pressure for too long hours ,
also had to deal sometimes with too complex problems , also enhanced my word/excel skills as I
had to give a daily report.
The internship have already met my expectations as I gained the maximum experience I could do
which was strongly related to my studies and my future job.
As I gained the experience in the food industries and worked with machines maintenance I think
this internship has already open my eyes to another horizons in my field of expertise also I think
it affects my career positively and It appeared since I have understand some courses practically
not only theoretically.
The internship was strongly related to my studies as I used many course I learned throw my
academic years such as Mechatronics lab , Electronics Circuits , Modern Control , Mechatronics
Engineering.
Yes , I strongly recommend this internship to my fellows.

Conclusion of the report:
On the whole, this internship was a useful experience. I have gained new knowledge, Skills and
met many new people. I achieved several of my learning goals,
I experienced what Related to my study ,There is still a lot to discover and to improve.
Furthermore I experienced that it is of importance that the education is objective and that You
have to be aware of the view of other people. Environmental education is not
One sided, but it is a way of sharing knowledge, ideas and opinions.
The internship was also good to find out what my strengths and weaknesses are. This Helped me
to define what skills and knowledge I have to improve in the coming time.
