4. Scope of Work & Responsibilities
of Structural Engineer
-Robustness, Safety, Economy, Serviceability, Availability to build. Analysis, design, calculate and decide material specification of structure
Inspect on-site construction work
Satisfy client's needs
Consult with Architect & Surveyor
Produce conceptual of design/structural
component for safety
Carry out final examination
7. Before construction
Provide
structural
precaution
Give reference of
infrastructure
works and
foundations
Prepare and
revise
Structural loading drawing
precautions
Determine drawing,blueprints and reports
Specifications and accurate calculation for
structure’s element
21. Structural Drawings
Structural Drawings is a technical drawing that
shows details information.
Applied maths, physics and science concepts to
design structures, resulting in stability and
sustainability of the structure.
22.
23.
24.
25. Record drawings
• Revised set of drawing submitted by
a contractor upon completion of a project or a
particular job.
• They reflect all changes made in
the specifications and working drawings during
the construction process, and show the
exact dimensions, geometry, and location of
all elements of the work completed under the contract.
26.
27.
28.
29. Reinforcement drawings
• Fully describe and locate all reinforcement in relation to
the finished surface of the concrete and to any holes or
fixings.
• They are primarily for the use of the steel fixers
30.
31. Standard details
• A drawing or illustration that is accurate and comprehensive
enough to be used in different projects with little or no changes.
• Standard details might include:
Standard Notes
Column bases and pile caps
Concrete box culverts
Expansion or Construction details
