Once qualification is complete and PE’s are complete, the squads will then ruckmarch back to the start point.
Each squad’s departure time will be logged by the NCOIC when moving onto the next leg.
Upon arriving back at the start point the squad will check in with the TOC and have their course completion time logged. Then each member will layout its gear IAW the prescribed packing list provided by CSM Harmon. Each item on hand IAW the packing list is worth 1 point per Soldier. (for example, if 7 Soldiers are missing wet weather tops and nothing else that squad would lose 7 points = 7 Soldiers X 1 Item missing each X 1 point). A percentage score will then be calculated.
During the layout, each squad member will take a final written exam on ECP operations and procedures. The exam will be 10 questions and scored identically to the first written exam (# of correct answers / # of total questions, i.e. 10 Soldiers, 10 tests equals 100 total answers divided by the number of questions answered correctly) and the squad will receive a final percentage score.
