Now what I always find interesting about GIS professionals—and I'm a GIS professional as well, and I have been one for many years—is that we know that GIS is a practical system for solving real problems. As a matter of fact, all of you are applying GIS science and GIS technology to solve real business challenges everyday. And it's really impressive. Now I've probably mentioned how excited I get around the User Conference time, and the chance that I get to go out to California and meet people from all over the world, and see the kind of applications they're doing with GIS. You're a representation of that as well. Just within this region, you're doing some amazing work. You're focused on cutting carbon emissions. You're focused on public safety. You're focused on utilities. You're focused on making our local areas a safer and cleaner and better place to live. You're working on some very important problems and challenges that face everybody on the planet.
