  11. Why we’re different to others: Work done on pellet boilers in scandinavia but they all focussed on steady state operation of boiler. We’re taking transients and startups into account as well. Their heating systems are designed differently to ours. They generally run for very long periods of time to provide a constant heat supply. In Ireland heating systems are designed to be used more intermittently so startup peaks are a very important contribution to our overall emission level
