The document discusses risk factors for breast cancer and aims to identify the age group at highest risk. A questionnaire assessing risk factors was administered to 600 women across 5 age groups. Results found that the percentage of women at high risk of breast cancer began increasing dramatically at age 35, peaking between ages 35-44. This suggests that 35 years old marks a border age where risk starts increasing. The conclusion is that women aged 35 and older should undergo regular screening as an important preventative measure against breast cancer.

The Belarusian State Medical University
Study of the age – the highest risk of
developing breast cancer is an important
step in the prevention of the tumor.
2. THE RELEVANCE OF THE
PROBLEM:
o Breast cancer occupies the first place in
the structure of oncological morbidity
(17.5%) and mortality rate among the
female population of the whole world.
According to the forecasts of American
scientists, breast cancer is sick every
10-11 woman born in recent years.
3. The social significance of BC is so great,
that the scientific research with the aim of
solving this problem are one of the leading
places in modern Oncology. An important
point is the prevention and early
diagnosis of cancer . For rational
organization of dispensary control it is
important to highlight a group of women
with a high risk of incidence of mammary
gland cancer. This allows to determine the
contingent of women with the presence of
obligatory or optional forms of precancer.
4. THE OBJECTIVES OF THE
STUDY:
With the purpose of prevention of breast cancer
explore:
1) the degree of risk of breast cancer in different age
groups of the female population
2) the relationship of the received data with the
statistical data of the Belarusian cancer-register the
sick
5. THE MATERIALS AND
METHODS OF THE RESEARCH
A questionnaire consisting of 31 of the
question, in each of which reflects a
certain risk factor for development of
mammary gland cancer. Respondents
were asked to select 1 answer from
existing 2-3 options. Assessment of factors
made conditional on a 3-point scale,
depending on the degree of impact on the
development of the mammary gland
cancer. The form with the application
form was issued for self-completion of
each Respondent.
6. It surveyed 600 women 5 age group (for
120 people in each): gr.1 - to 24 years old,
I. 2 - aged 25-34, gr.3 - 35-44 years, gr.4 -
45-54 years, gr.5 -55 years and older. On
the amount of points was made a
conclusion about the degree of risk BC:
low 0-9 points, the average 10-19 points,
high-20-50 points.

15. CONCLUSION:
The age of 35-44 years is a border age (the age of
the risk of the development of BC) because in
this age there are a maximum number of women:
with the presence of controllable risk factors
RMJ
with the presence of risk factors the most
significant in the development of the mammary
gland cancer
there has been a dramatic increase in the degree
of risk according to the results of testing
16. RECOMMENDATIONS:
Women with 35 years of age should be subjected
to long-term surveillance.
Starting from this age women need to conduct
more self-examination, ultrasound diagnostic
mammography, to conduct a healthy way of life.
This is an important step in the prevention of
breast cancer.
