I am going to create a Skateboarding magazine that is going to be used for entertainment
purposes.

Pitch
This magazine I’m going to create is going to be an entertainment magazine with the main
focus of being skateboarding this is going to include a big image of the front page of the
magazine to grab the reader’s attention. Inside the magazine there will be things such as

3. interviews and pages of pictures of the latest tricks that have been done in the
skateboarding scene. Furthermore, the target audience will be for teenagers and young
adults who enjoy skateboarding. The magazine will come out monthly to ensure that every
time it comes out it is full of brand new information that people can read about and not be
bored while doing so.
Proposal
My project will be made on Photoshop this gives me the ability to make things look exactly
how I want them to by being able to edit photos to make them look like what I want them
to. The equipment I will be using will not cost anything to hire, the photos will need to be
planned for the time I want to go take them as it needs to be dark so that the look as good
as I want them to.
These are a few examples of photos that I might be using in my magazine. I would need to
give credit to Luke for taking these photos for me.

4. I have set my front cover out to look like
this as it stands out to people looking at
the magazine as there is a big image on
the front that people can’t miss it. Also
the title will be big so that people clearly
see that this is what the magazine is
called. This is a wide shot as it gets a lot
of things in the image showing what it’s
like to be in a skateboarding
environment. The font will be unique as
it needs to stand out from the rest of the
magazines that get sold.
The double page spread will have more
than just one image on it as it will give it
that unique look compared to other
magazines being sold. There will not be a
lot of writing in the interview either as
people who read the magazine will not
want to read loads of text.

5. Prepare content
I need to prepare the writing for the interview that I’m going to use on my double page
spread in my magazine as it is going to be one of the main selling points for it. Also need to
edit the image on the front cover a little bit to make it stand out more than it already is. I
need to make sure that the Images on the double page spread.
