Sharp, severe & paroxysmal.
The pain may appear on one side only.
Long standing.

Aggravated by: in morning; from motion; cold; hunger & anxiety.
Ameliorated by: rest; quiet; sleep; warmth & natural eliminations.

5. Concomitants
Mental symptoms such as fear, anxiety & apprehension.
Red face with throbbing of the carotids.
Hot flushes ending with little perspiration.
Sweat on head during sleep.
Vertigo, aggravated by looking up suddenly, rising from a sitting position or from
emotional disturbances.
