2. What is a PIE GRANT?
A PIE Grant is a stipend given to students
participating in public interest internships for
the summer.
3. What qualifies?
• Summer Positions must be both nonprofit and
nonpartisan. This includes:
– District Attorneys and Public Defenders
– Public Interest Non Profit Organizations
– Some Government positions
4. What does not qualify?
• Students who participate in the following
internships are not eligible to receive the PIE
Grant:
– Judicial Clerkships
– Corporate Internships
