I'm Full Professor for Educational Technologies and Learning Analytics. My research interests includes Learning Analytics, Personalisation technologies, Recommender Systems and the application in the fields of Education and Health. I'm chairing the EATEL SIG dataTEL and the national SIG Learning Analytics of the Dutch umbrella organisation SURF. I'm elected member of the Society of Learning Analytics Research (SoLAR). I have been principal investigator and scientific coordinator of various national and EU projects. I regularly chair international scientific events and I'm associate editor of the impact journal JCAL & IEE TLT.
