2015 ACSI ASX200 Sustainability Research
Highlights
• 87% of ASX200 companies provide some level of reporting on
sustainability factors
• Long-term trend is reasonably positive (≈ 50% of
companies rated in 2 highest categories this year)
• BUT way too many companies are still below an acceptable
standard (33% still in the lowest 2 categories).
• There are 29 “Leaders” (highest rating for at least 5
years) and 3 persistent “Laggards” (no sustainability
reporting at all for at least 4 years).
• Larger companies tend to be more proficient
sustainability reporters than smaller ones.
