The simplest and best way to share purpose in your team is to model the way, lead by example, and walk the talk. By mirroring the behavior you are seeking in your team members, your actions are consistent with your message. In this short session (30-minutes) we will explore this idea and provide you with some strategies to model the way. Unfortunately, leaders often say one thing and do another. They are inconsistent with actions and messaging. Sometimes this is unintentional. This not only confuses the people you lead, it also means that people will tend to do what you do rather than what you say. For example, if you want our team members to treat your stakeholders with respect and they see you treating a stakeholder with disrespect, they will take that example and ignore your rhetoric.
