In our constant endeavour to increase awareness and help people
reach out for help on important issues related to sleep on
#WorldSleepDay multiple activities were organized by AVISS
HEALTH
1. All mass media tools were used like the print media (leading en-
glish and hindi newspapers like times of india, dainik jagran),social
media like facebook, linkedin, twitter,blogs were used to reach out
to as many people as possible.
2. Our representatives met resident welfare associations and
public awareness activities in form of patient educational materials
were distributed .
3. Snoring and sleep disorders awareness health camp was organ-
ised on 11th march,sunday ( as 16th was friday being working day)
in gurgaon. We were overwhelmed by the response. Around 120
people attended and benefited from the initiative.Free consultation
and check up was provided by sleep specialist Dr. Himanshu
Garg, sleep psychologist , ENT specialist and Dental Sleep Spe-
cialist . Sleep Health awareness talk was addressed by Dr. Prera-
na and yoga session was conducted to address issues around
sleep health. It was a great team effort put by Aviss Health team.
We are humbled by the kind feedback received from all who at-
tended the camp. Such words of encouragement keep us going!!!
4. Yoga for sound sleep Yoganidra - on occasion of World Sleep
Day 2018, AvissHealth conducted successful yoga for sound
sleep session. Physiological parameters pre and post yoga were
assessed. Dr Himanshu Garg Sleep specialist interacted with the
attendees and made them aware of the #Sleep cycle and rhythm
and how holistic therapies like Yoga, Mindfullness can help with
sleep disorders like insomnia etc. Looking at the overwhelming
feedback we will be doing monthly sessions.
5. During the period sleep diagnostics were provided at discounted
price.
6. A health awareness talk around the theme of this year
preserve your rhythms was given by Dr Himanshu Garg, sleep
specialist.
7. Sleep technologist training was conducted.
8. Hashtags #WorldSleepDay and mentions @_WorldSleep
along with #Sleep, #SleepExperts, #Insomnia etc. where used.
9. To reach out more people online interconnected hashtags such
as #Yoga #mindfullness #meditation etc were also used.
We hope these initiatives will increase awareness and help people
reach out for help on important issues related to sleep.
While submitting activites we have tried to provide Stats and Data
related to touch points, engagement, traction that we were able to
create. Which can help foundation and other members to under-
stand and promote upcoming world sleep day.

Another Insight we have shared after participation in promot-
ing WSD. We have tried our best to capture information about
how many people at least, we educated and made aware and
how many touchpoints were generated, engagement creat-
ed, Awareness created about good sleep habits and also
about awareness of the slogan “Join the sleep world, Pre-
serve your rhythms to enjoy life”
