Dr. Kanchan Kumar Bhowmik completed his Honours’ Graduate & Master Degree in Agriculture from Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya (B.C.K.V) and his research leading to Ph.D on fertilizer management at Rural Development Centre, IIT, Kharagpur. He received National Award (Rank 88 in West Bengal in West Bengal Board of Secondary Education), All India Science Talent Search Award, Achievement cum Diagnostic Awards in Mathematics as well as National Fellowship from I.C.A.R. He was also awarded by the then Governor, Hon`ble Sri Viren J. Shah, Govt. of W.B; Hon`ble Sri Somnath Chatterjee, the then Speaker of Loksava for his remarkable works.
