2-Year Progress on Outreach
• Since July, 2011, a fulltime Outreach
Coordinator has focused on providing
housing and wraparound social services to
individuals with the highest number of
arrests in the CBID
• To date, 24 clients (with 2,632 arrests over
the past 3 years) have received housing
through this outreach initiative
Outreach Results
• 24 clients have received housing assistance
– 10 have transitioned to permanent housing
– 8 are currently in temporary housing
– 1 transitioned to Rehab
– 5 returned to the street

• Over 900 arrests (based on past history)
have been prevented in the group housed
Homeward Bound
• One-way transportation to families, jobs or
support services for 571 individuals since
June, 2008 (cost $88,420)
• These individuals accounted for 4,831
Nashville arrests
• January-October, 2013: 115 individuals have
received Homeward Bound assistance
